Peak demand

A single demand peak can raise your bill for up to 12 months.

Under Ecuador's current tariff schedule, your billing with hourly demand is calculated based on the maximum demand of your last 12 months. A simultaneous motor startup, a poorly coordinated shift, an accidental spike of a few minutes — and that record stays with you on the bill for a whole year.

Power quality

The power quality that affects your equipment, finally visible.

Motors that overheat for no apparent reason. Protections that trip “on their own.” Capacitors that die early. Behind those symptoms there are almost always harmonics, imbalance or out-of-range voltage — invisible without continuous measurement.

Harmonic distortion

EconoWatt monitors the harmonic distortion of your installation —THD and individual 3rd, 5th and 7th harmonics, per phase— according to the parameters of the IEEE 519 standard. Continuous visibility of the condition that overheats motors, damages capacitors and can trigger observations from your distribution utility.

Phase imbalance

Detects and alerts on voltage and current imbalance between phases before it degrades your three-phase motors or raises your consumption. Phase-by-phase measurement (A/B/C), with alert thresholds configured for your operation.

Voltage and frequency under watch

Line-to-line and line-to-neutral voltages, frequency and power factor, monitored 24/7 with severity-based alerts: from sustained low voltage to critical overvoltage. If the grid delivers you poor-quality power, you'll have the record to claim it — and to protect your assets in the meantime.

Our power quality measurements follow the methodology of the IEC 61000 standards, the international reference framework for power quality parameters.

ISO 50001
